As merger nears, US Airways moves to American’s counter at Jackson Evers

US Airways has moved from boarding passengers on the west concourse to the east concourse at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport.

us_oneline_colorUS Airways passengers will now board at gates three and four. US Airways ticket counter services will now operate from the American Airlines ticket counter relocated closer to the east security checkpoint.

This move comes after American Airlines and US Airways are steps closer to completing a merger and operate as one airline. No flights are expected to be interrupted during the transition. American Airlines will continue all regularly scheduled daily flights to Charlotte, Washington, DC, and Dallas.
