House honors Fred Haise

Astronaut Fred Haise (center, red tie), a Biloxi native, was honored by the Mississippi House of Representatives for his distinguished career. He was commended with House Concurrent Resolution 88, which recognized his extraordinary leadership and service. Among his many space flights, Haise was the lunar module pilot on Apollo 13, which developed problems during its moon flight and had to return to Earth.
