MISA Metal Processing locating operations in Forest

FOREST — MISA Metal Processing Inc., supplier of coils and slit steel to Tier 1 automotive suppliers, is locating a facility in Forest in central Mississippi.

Company officials say in a news release that the project is a $9.8 million investment and will initially create 11 jobs.

MMP will be a supplier to UNIPRES, a company that produces parts for the automotive industry from its plant in Forest.

The Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance in support of the project for public infrastructure improvements. The City of Forest and Scott County provided assistance, as well.

MMP is headquartered in Portland, Tennessee.
