GULFPORT — Workers are putting the finishing touches on the new North Harrison County Industrial Park.
WLOX TV reports county supervisors agreed Monday to allocate $1 million for infrastructure work at the complex.
The park will offer large parcels for potential business and industry. In the current industrial park, 35 acres is the largest space available. Along with size, there are other benefits.
Supervisor Marlin Ladner says it’s in a good location near a highway and rail line.
County leaders say the future development will provide an economic boost for the entire region.
