North Mississippi State Hospital employees Sommer Armstrong, public relations manager, and Lisa Roberts, nurse supervisor, recently graduated from the State Executive Development Institute, an executive style, graduate level program offered by the John C. Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development at Mississippi State University.
SEDI is designed to prepare mid-to-upper level government executives to be more efficient leaders. Curriculum topics include leadership management theory, conflict resolution and ethics. Participates network with other state executives as well as the Institute faculty and leadership. Graduation speaker was Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley.
North Mississippi State Hospital is a behavioral health program of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health.
