Higginbotham Automotive recently announced the return of Steve Rollins as general manager of Mercedes-Benz of Jackson and Porsche of Jackson. As the most senior general manager in the Higginbotham’s family of dealerships, Rollins was chosen to run Mercedes-Benz of Jackson, the family’s largest dealership.

For the past two years, Rollins has served as general manager at the Higginbotham family’s newest dealership, Mercedes-Benz of Collierville, Tenn., where he played a key role in start-up operations, including hiring talent, building relationships with customers and overseeing daily operations.

Rollins has worked with the Higginbotham family in several capacities for the past 30 years. He began working for the family at Higginbotham Chevrolet in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., where he was the pre-owned car manager for eight years. In 1998, he moved to the family’s Mercedes-Benz dealership in Daytona, Fla., starting in the sales department and eventually moving up to pre-owned sales manager. When the family opened Mercedes-Benz of Jackson in 2001, Rollins was promoted to general sales manager at this location, and in 2009, he moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C., to serve as general manager at that dealership, where he remained until his move to Collierville two years ago. In addition to his many roles at the dealerships, Rollins’ expertise includes a certification by the National Automobile Dealer Association Dealer Academy.
