The Mississippi Development Authority is accepting applications for the 2015 Governor’s Awards for Excellence in Exporting. The awards will honor two companies in the service sector and two companies in the manufacturing sector.
“When Mississippi-based companies choose to export, they are strengthening our local economies, helping create new career opportunities for Mississippians, expanding our state’s economy and improving the standard of living for people around the world,” MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough Jr. said in a release.
Recipients will be honored at the Jackson Convention Complex on Dec. 4. To request an application, contact Nathanael Gassett with MDA’s Trade Bureau at (601) 359-2079 or email@example.com. The deadline to submit an application is Oct. 2.
