Jana Perry has has been hired by the Mississippi Children’s Museum as the new director of education and programs, the department that is responsible for leading museum initiatives in education, inquiry-based learning, exhibit experiences and overall program development and administration.
Perry served as principal of the Mississippi School of the Arts in Brookhaven for the past seven years and was director of admissions and recruiting for three years prior. She received her masters of education in educational leadership degree from Mississippi College and a bachelor of fine arts in dance from the University of Southern Mississippi.
