Origin Bank, formerly Community Trust Bank, has announced that Laura Greer has joined the bank as a public relations specialist with the Mississippi banking team in Ridgeland.
Greer is new to the banking industry, having spent a significant amount of time in the world of catering and event planning. She will focus on coordinating events and act as a liaison for sponsorship opportunities in Mississippi. Greer has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University, and a Certificate of Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Charleston.
Greer volunteers for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, and is a member of the University of Mississippi Medical Center Spousal Alliance and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. She is married to Dr. Robert A. Greer, Jr., who is a resident at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Greer will maintain an office at the bank’s Highland Colony Financial Center.
