Law firm Cosmich Simmons & Brown is moving its headquarters into One Eastover Center, the newest entry into Metro Jackson’s office market.

Cosmich Simmons & Brown will occupy the second floor of the five-story office building along Eastover Drive and the I-55 Frontage Road. “We believe the location and amenities of the building and surrounding development offer our firm a favorable platform from which to represent our clients and enjoy further growth,” said Richard A. Brown, managing member, in a press release from developer Holder Properties.

Cosmich Simmons & Brown is headquartered in Jackson at 101 S. Congress St. It has offices in Hattiesburg, New Orleans and Cincinnati.

An attached parking garage of 350 spaces will provide parking for the firm and its visitors.

Principal tenant Baker Donelson will take the remaining upper floors for a total of about 70,000 square feet. The regional law firm is expected to move from the nearby Meadowbrook Office Park at the end of March.

One Eastover is the office building component of the $150 million mixed use District at Eastover. Construction of the lodging component, a 95-suite Residence Inn by Marriott, is in its final stages.

Up next for the 23-acre development is construction of a retail center, a movie theater, a Community Trust Bank, a Cantina Laredo restaurant, a movie theater, and 190 residential lofts.
