Tulane appoints Baxter

Tulane University’s School of Continuing Studies Madison Campus has appointment of Mary Lib Baxter to serve as the Director of the Paralegal Studies Program, which was recently launched.

Baxter, who was born and raised in Mobile, Ala., received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and earned a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans. Following law school, Baxter secured her Alabama law license and specialized in family law in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. Baxter and her husband, Richard, moved to Madison in 2012. Baxter obtained her Mississippi Bar license in 2013 and began working for several local law firms.
