Jackson partner J. William Manuel of Bradley Arant has been elected secretary-treasurer of the Capitol Area Bar Association (CABA). Manuel, who most recently served as a CABA director, will act as secretary-treasurer for a one-year term, and then proceed with annual terms as president-elect, president, and past president.
Manuel focuses his practice primarily on commercial and employment litigation. He has handled various disputes for both large and small businesses in Mississippi and other jurisdictions. Manual is an American Bar Foundation Fellow. He earned his B.A. (magna cum laude) from Mississippi State University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
