The Mississippi State University Foundation this month welcomes Brittany McCrary of Athens, Ala., has joined the Mississippi State University Foundation as assistant director of annual giving.
As assistant director of annual giving, McCrary will oversee the Bulldog Calling Center that employs some 50 MSU students to make telephone solicitations. Callers also update database records of alumni and friends. Mississippi State currently has more than 135,000 living alumni.
McCrary’s work with the Bulldog Calling Center began as a student caller in early 2013. For the past three years, McCrary has worked in various progressive capacities for the telefunding center, most recently as a senior manager.
McCrary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biological engineering she earned from Mississippi State this year. She was a Montgomery Leadership Scholar and volunteered with the Maroon Volunteer Center as a student. She also was a member of the MSU Foundation Ambassadors student organization, where she helped coordinate Donor Appreciation Days. The organization helps further the mission of the MSU Foundation through communication and stewardship activities.
