Casino makes key changes

Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Biloxi recently announced three executive changes.

John Guy

John Guy was promoted to Assistant General Manager. He previously served as the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Golden Nugget Biloxi. He is a native of Bay St. Louis and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a BSBA degree in Accounting. He has over 15 years of Casino & Resort Accounting/Finance experience.

In his more than 15 years of Casino & Resort Accounting/Finance experience, Guy has been involved with or led teams in all facets of the Finance Department, which includes Financial Analysis, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Revenue Audit, Cage & Count, Purchasing & Receiving, Risk Management, Information Technology, & Treasury. His background has a strong emphasis on analysis, efficiencies in the workplace, & project management.

Scott King

Scott King is now Vice President of Resort Operations. He is responsible for the daily operations of the hotel, spa, pool, valet, security, marketing and facilities operations of the property. King joined the Golden Nugget as the Director of Revenue Management in May 2013. Prior to Golden Nugget, King served as Director of Policy & Research at the Gulf Coast Business Council, where he developed an extensive research program while working on issues including the Business Council’s Premier Destination Initiative, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Regional Tourism Partnership, and other economic development projects. King’s gaming industry experience includes serving in numerous analytical and managerial capacities for Caesar’s Entertainment and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi, and he worked with the Mississippi Casino Operators Association as a consultant between 2009 and 2013. King graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Finance, and obtained his Masters in Business Administration from The University of Mississippi.

Stephanie Williams

Stephanie Williams has been named as Director of Human Resources. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Psychology and Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University. She launched her career with Gaylord Entertainment as a performer in 1995. In 2002, she joined MGM Resorts International at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino as the Human Resources Manager of Learning and Talent Development. In September 2015, she joined PCH Hotels and Resorts at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club and Spa in Point Clear, Ala., as the Human Resources Manager.
