Two Butler Snow attorneys have been elected to leadership positions by local bar associations. Meade W. Mitchell is president of the Capital Area Bar Association and John H. Dollarhide is president of the Jackson Young Lawyers Association.
Mitchell’s term runs until May 31, 2017. Capital Area Bar Association serves Hinds County in Mississippi and the surrounding metropolitan areas.
Dollarhide’s term also runs until May 31, 2017. The JYL strives to strengthen the bond between young and newly admitted attorneys in the Jackson area by emphasizing community, education, and service.
Mitchell concentrates his practice on product liability defense, toxic tort defense, transportation law/trucking defense, and personal injury defense. He earned both his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.
Dollarhide is a member of the firm’s commercial litigation group and focuses on business torts and unfair competition, commercial litigation, drug and device litigation, financial services litigation, and professional liability.
He completed his undergraduate education at Mississippi State before earning his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law.
