Jackson to chair MHA board

James H. Jackson, CPA, Executive Director of Greenwood Leflore Hospital, was recently elected Chairman of the 2016-2017 Mississippi Hospital Association Board of Governors during MHA’s 85th Annual Leadership Conference.

Jackson has been with the hospital since 2000. He is a 1982 graduate of Pillow Academy in Greenwood and earned a Bachelor of Professional Accounting degree from Mississippi State University in 1986. Jim is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of CPAs. He currently serves on the Boards of MHA, Delta Trauma Council, and Leflore/Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.

He and his wife, Laura, have three children, Jay, 21, Jeff, 16, and John Ross, 11. They attend North Greenwood Baptist Church.
