Robert Landrum of Ellisville has been named Vice Chair of the Board of Mental Health for Fiscal Year 2017, which began July 1.
Landrum has been involved in mental health since the early 1980s, when he and his wife became active in Ellisville State School’s Parents and Friends Organization. Landrum represents the Fifth Congressional District and is a family member of a person who has received services through the public mental health system. He is on the Board of Mental Health’s Property Subcommittee. In 2005, he received the James “Jimmy” Stubbs Award, which recognizes a commitment of volunteer service to Mississippians with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental illness, or substance use disorders.
