Efforts continue to ensure residents annexed into Tupelo in 2012 receive updated municipal utility services.
The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports Tupelo Water & Light has completed installation of fire hydrants and new drinking water lines in the Chesterville Road area on the city’s western edge.
On the other side of town, installation of sewer lines in the Deer Park area is complete. Residents may now begin the process of moving from septic tanks to municipal sewer service.
