Bank of Yazoo has named Dennis Legate as Senior Vice President for Rankin County.
A native of Jackson, Legate was formerly First Vice President of Commercial Lending Group for BankPlus. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry and holds a bachelor’s degree from Belhaven College and a master’s degree in business administration from Mississippi College. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Banking and The Tennessee Commercial Lending School at Vanderbilt University.
Legate is the current Pro-Am Chairman for Sanderson Farms Championship Golf Tournament, member of Flowood and Rankin County Chamber of Commerce, member of Century Club Charities, former board of director of Northwest Rankin Athletic Association and Reservoir YMCA. He and his wife, Mitzie have two children, Christian and Graham, and two (soon to be three) grandchildren.
