Pamela Hancock of Jackson is one of 11 individuals nominated for the National Professional Advisor of the Year Award, which was established to recognize estate planners, trust officers, and financial and wealth managers. These individuals encourage and present philanthropic opportunities to clients who are planning their estates and intend to support the American Cancer Society.
Hancock founded the Hancock Law Firm, PLLC, in Jackson in 2001, and has been practicing law since 1997. She was Madison Assistant City Prosecutor (2003-2009) and Hinds County Drug Court Prosecutor (2010-2011).
Hancock received her J.D., cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law. Her legal practice focuses primarily in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate & Business Planning, Corporate Law, Family Law and Civil Litigation. She also acts as a mediator in these and other types of cases.
Hancock volunteers with the American Cancer Society, and is past president and gala chair of The Cancer League. She is a member of the Madison County Business League, Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, City of Ridgeland Chamber and Madison County Chamber. She also is a member of the Leadership Madison County Class of 2015, and the Capital Area Sunset Rotary Club.
