Bernard J. Graves Jr. joins Baker Donelson’s Intellectual Property Group in the Firm’s Nashville office.
Mr. Graves is a chemical and material sciences patent attorney, with a particular emphasis on identification and protection of intellectual property rights in the manufacturing sector.
Bernie advises clients on methodologies for protecting proprietary technology through all aspects of representation before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, in addition to identification and systematic protection of business and technical trade secret information. He also advices corporate clients on best practices for the implementation of procedures and policies to protect intellectual property.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Mr. Graves was vice president and deputy general counsel of Eastman Chemical Company, where he served as chief intellectual property counsel for more than 16 years.
