Delta Council recently selected Woods Eastland of Indianola as its president for 2018-19. A retired CEO of Staplcotn, Woods has served on numerous national agricultural boards and commissions. He also served as Chairman of the National Cotton Council of America and has been an elected Director of Delta Council for many years. He and his wife Lynn have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Elected to serve as Vice-Presidents of Delta Council for the 2018-2019 year include Stanley Ayers of Leland, John Rodgers Brashier of Indianola, Pete Hunter of Clarksdale, B. Jones of Tchula, Floyd Melton III of Greenwood, and Ransom Myers of Dundee. Andy Anderson of Rolling Fork is serving a second term as Treasurer.
