Robert Gooden inducted into the Mississippi Credit Union Hall of Fame

Robert Gooden

Rivertrust Federal Credit Union Director Robert Gooden has been inducted into the Mississippi Credit Union Hall of Fame. Created in 1993, the Mississippi Credit Union Hall of Fame is the state’s highest credit union honor, recognizing individuals that have devoted their life to the philosophy and success of credit unions at the local, state or national level.

Robert Gooden began his volunteer service with Rivertrust Federal Credit Union on the supervisory committee in 1984. In 1987, he was elected to the board of directors. Over the years, he has served as chairman of the by-laws committee and the policy review committee, and as a member of the building, the loan generation and the heritage exhibit committees.

Gooden, an ordained chaplain, is responsible for opening each board meeting with prayer.
