Jerome Trahan, a native of Biloxi and long-time resident of Meridian, is returning to Mississippi as the Marketing Director for The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX). Trahan is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and is a former resident of Northern Virginia, where he spent 11 years working in Amtrak’s Washington D.C. headquarters.
Trahan began his career in Meridian over 20 years ago as a television reporter, which led him to produce local cable access programming and award-winning commercials for Meridian’s Comcast Cable. He taught broadcasting at Meridian Community College and spent many years on the local advertising scene before starting his career with Amtrak.
