’50 Nights of Lights’ in Cleveland

Years ago, a group of ladies in Cleveland persuaded business owners to put white lights in their windows and had white-light trees installed in downtown. Last year, a Christmas tree was added, along with lighted and animated decorations. This year, businesses, individuals and civic organizations contributed $200,000 to further enhance the downtown as a holiday destination. Now called “50 Nights of Lights,” the illuminations are up from Nov. 10 through Dec. 31.
