Peavey product wins another award
MERIDIAN — The editors of Guitar World magazine have honored the Peavey Electronics’ VYPYR 75 modeling guitar amplifier with its Gold Award for Overall Value.
“Peavey’s new Vypyr Series modeling amps are packed with so many sounds and features that they offer boom, rather than bang, for the buck,” wrote Chris Gill in the August 2009 issue of Guitar World.
“We designed the VYPYR Series to offer the market something completely different,” said Hartley Peavey, founder and CEO of Peavey Electronics.
Music-product retailers from across the U.S. voted the Peavey VYPYR Series their Product of the Year in the annual Music & Sound Awards, produced by industry journal Music & Sound Retailer. The Peavey VYPYR Series also won the Instrument Amplifier of the Year award in the Music & Sound Awards, and the Amplifier Line of the Year award from retailers who voted in Musical Merchandise Review magazine’s annual survey.
