Please note:

While most appraisers are members of the local Board of Realtors, it is not a state requirement that they do so.  Appraisers are, however, required to be licensed and/or certified by the Mississippi Real Estate  Commission and the Mississippi Appraisal Board.

Thanks for the excellent article on the Evans&#039; fraud, other than this mis-statement.
