MAR honor McBride, Michel

Rep. Warner F. McBride, D-Courtland, District 10-Lafayette/Panola/Tallahatchie, has been awarded the Mississippi Association of REALTORS (MAR) Outstanding House Legislator Award for 2009. And, Senator Walter Michel, R-Jackson, District 25-Hinds/Madison, has been awarded the MAR Outstanding Senate Legislator Award for 2009.
McBride was recognized for exemplary support in real estate and property rights issues during the 2009 legislative session. He has been a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives since 1992, and currently serves as Chairman of the House Transportation committee.
Michel was recognized for exemplary support in real estate and property rights issues during the 2009 Legislative Session. Michel is chairman of the Economic Development committee and is vice-chairman of the Executive Contingent Fund for the Senate. He was elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives in 1992 and the Mississippi Senate in 1999. Michel has been a Realtor for 27 years.
