Cade named CEO/G.M. of 4-County
The 4-County Electric Power Association board of directors has selected Joe B. Cade for the cooperative’s new CEO/general manager. Cade most recently served as president and CEO of Flint Electric Membership Corporation in Reynolds, Ga., before retiring in 2005.
Cade was a co-founder of Green Power Electric Membership Corporation, a statewide organization offering renewable energy options to electric cooperatives in Georgia. He was also one of the founders of Touchstone Energy, a nationwide alliance of more than 700 local, consumer-owned electric cooperatives in 46 states.
Prior to his eight years at the helm of Flint, Cade served as the general manager of Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) in Talladega, Ala.
