MGM Resorts, casinos announce promotions

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is pleased to announce two recent promotion. Lam Trinh has been promoted to senior application support analyst in the Information Technology Department. Trinh’s career at Beau Rivage began in April 2005 as a member of the computer engineering team.
Trinh is a graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he earned an associate’s degree in electronics technology.
Greg Hodge has been promoted to senior systems engineer in the Information Technology Department. Hodge’s career at Beau Rivage began in May 2007 as a member of the computer engineering team. Prior to joining Beau Rivage, he owned a computer company that employed 10 technicians and supported several local businesses. During that time he designed, purchased, built, installed and maintained several complete computer networking systems from the ground up for some of those businesses.
Hodge attended Auburn University with an emphasis in accounting.
Beau Rivage has promoted Joan Ladnier to director of catering, banquets and conference services. Ladnier has been a member of the Beau Rivage Banquet Department since the property’s opening in 1999 where she began as a full-time server. She was promoted to banquet captain within six months and to lead services Captain in July 2000.
Prior to joining Beau Rivage, she spent 16 years in New Orleans and worked in the Banquet Department at the Windsor Court Hotel for 11 years.
Ladnier has always served in a leadership role at Beau Rivage. She has been responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Banquet Department and has coordinated events with catering, beverage, services, set up, culinary and stewarding on a daily basis.
She is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and has worked in the Food and Beverage industry most of her career. She returned home to Mississippi in 1998 and joined the Beau Rivage opening team the next year.
MGM Resorts International Mississippi Operations has promoted Kyle Dunavant to regional director of database marketing and campaign management for Beau Rivage and Gold Strike. He began his career with Beau Rivage as a casino accounting clerk in Aug. 2006. The following year, he was promoted to senior accounting clerk, and later that year he was promoted again to the position of casino marketing analyst.
Dunavant has held senior positions in both casino and database marketing including his most recent position as regional database marketing manager.
Gold Strike Casino Resort has promoted Brandon Dardeau to vice president of customer development. Dardeau began his career with MGM Resorts International as a casino marketing coordinator at MGM Grand in May 2000. He quickly rose to management and transferred to Beau Rivage in July 2001 and has held positions in slot operations and slot and casino marketing.
Dardeau received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Louisiana.
