Wypyski named Port COO

The Mississippi State Port Authority is pleased to announce that Matthew “Matt” S. Wypyski has joined the State Port as COO. He most recently held the position of executive vice president with New Orleans Terminal, LLC, and Houston Terminal, LLC, a joint venture between Mediterranean Shipping Company and Ceres Inc.
Wypyski is a graduate of the New York State Merchant Marine Academy and earned a B.S. degree in business management and marine transportation He also holds a U.S.C.G. 3rd Officer’s License.
Wypyski, his wife and two daughters are relocating from New Orleans to the Gulfport area.
