Baker Donelson adds seven attorneys

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, announces the addition of seven new attorneys to its Jackson office: Nakimuli O. Davis, Alicia S. Hall, Howard Lee Hill II, Wendy S. Huff, Alexander C. Martin II, David Wesley Mockbee and Brooke L. Tarleton.

Davis joins the Firm as an associate in the Advocacy Department where she focuses on general business litigation. A 2009 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, she served as the executive articles editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. Prior to joining the firm, Davis clerked for the Honorable Leslie H. Southwick of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Hall, who also joins as an associate in Baker Donelson’s Advocacy Department, is a 2010 magna cum laude graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law, where she was the executive editor of the Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, Hall served as an extern to the Honorable Linda R. Anderson, Federal Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi.

Hill joins the Firm as an associate in the firm’s State Public Policy Practice Group.  A 2010 magna cum laude graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law, he was the associate editor of the Mississippi College Law Review. Previously, Hill served as assistant to one of the three commissioners for the Mississippi Transportation Commission.

Huff, who joins Baker Donelson as an associate in the Health Law and Public Policy Group, is a 2007 cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law.  She focuses her practice in the areas of disaster recovery and healthcare law, and is an active member of the firm’s Disaster Recovery and Government Services Industry Service Team. Huff is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.

Martin, who also joins the firm as an associate in the Firm’s State Public Policy Practice Group, is a 2010 cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was a James O. Eastland Scholar. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Martin served as an instructor for Concerned Citizens Community Center.

Mockbee joins Baker Donelson as an associate in the Advocacy Department focusing on general commercial litigation. He is a 2010 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, Mockbee interned for the Innocence Project and the Mississippi Center for Justice.

Tarleton also joins the firm as an associate in the Advocacy Department.  A 2010 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, she focuses on general commercial litigation. Tarleton serves as a volunteer with the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project.
