WASHINGTON — Rep. Steven Palazzo (R-Miss.) has been appointed to serve on three U.S. House committees when he takes office in January.
Palazzo is a state House member who defeated longtime U.S. Rep. Gene Taylor, a Democrat, in November’s election.
