Family termite is not Wilsons the owners name is Thomas Tramel. It is a different company he treats his employees and customers very well as far as I have seen. I had a problem with termites in a wall for three years while under a supposed contract with wilsons only to find out that they had gone out of business. I made a call to family termite in August of 2012 and asked to talk to the manager of family termite after my neibor told me they did her house and she was really pleased with the service. I spoke to Thomas and he came to my house that day. Even though my contract was a retreat only he had the Sheetrock replaced and retreated my house. I would recommend them to anyone. I hope wilsons stays gone he doesn't know how to treat customers.

This was the right thing to do! The MDAC was right on taking action on James Wilson. He has for years in the Brandon area done bad business, treated both employees and customers in poorly. This guy has one of the worst turn over rates in the state and an unemployment file a mile long. He should never be allowed to work in this industry again!! Its companies like this that make it hard for companies like mine. Thank You MDAC and please dont do business with Family Pest control eaither they are all of the same mold !

J Wilson - hate to say it, but what comes around goes around. J Wilson had an employee steal prescription drugs and an engagement ring from our house. Their only "corrective action" was to make sure that the employee didnt return to my house - but they still sent him out to other unknowing homeowners. And NOBODY in management made one single attempt to try and make the situation right or even offer an apology. I would NEVER do business w/ J Wilson or any company that is related to them.

The information above is very misleading. James Wilson was not related to the other two men in this article in any way other than they all performed pest control in Mississippi.

James Wilson was already prepared to retire and turn his company (that he had built up for almost thirty years) over to his children ( myself Shawn Rogers, Jimmi Wilson, Danni Beth Wilson, and Thomas Tramel)
well before any investigation was launched.

The incident that caused his license to be investigated was a very isolated incident on the gulf coast involving 5 houses that had treatment involving some drilling on expansion joints. After a very long and tedious investigation were the state bureau went through all of Wilson's files, they found these fie houses with the drill holes being 13 1/2 to 14 inches apart instead of 12 inches apart.

These homes were treated in 2009 and by an ex-employee. We have since gone and re-drilled and retreated those homes.

James and Mary Wilson's children have taken over the business and there are three license holders in the new business. We have renamed the company Family Termite and Environmental strictly because we are a Family owned and operated company.

Family Termite will still honor and maintain all contracts from Wilson's and we will still deliver the best service in the industry.

Please if there are any further questions, email me or call the home office at 601-992-9351
