Planters announces numerous promotions

Planters Bank announced that Eric Miller has been promoted to vice president. Miller serves in the Greenwood office of Planters Bank and has a total of eight years of banking experience.
He received his B.S. from the University of Alabama and received his MBA from Mississippi State University in 2002. He is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking.
He serves on the board of directors for the Greenwood Chamber and recently served as the 2010-2011 president of Leadership Greenwood. He is a member of Lions, currently serving as vice president.
Miller is married to the former Holly Reed of Louisville, and they have one daughter, Maggie.
Planters also announced the promotion of Dustin Sullivan to loan officer for the Greenwood branch. Sullivan, a native of Greenwood, is a graduate of Cruger-Tchula Academy. He joined Planters in July 2010.
Sullivan received his BBA in management from Delta State University.
He is active in the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on the 300 Oaks and Community Pride Committees.
Sullivan and his wife, Marley, are members of North Greenwood Baptist Church.
Planters announced that Will Sledge has been promoted to vice president for the Cleveland office. Sledge joined Planters Bank in May 2007 and has over nine years of banking experience.
He received his BBA and MBA from Delta State University. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Banking and is currently attending the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
He is serving as vice president for the Rotary Club of Cleveland and as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts. He is also a United Way of Bolivar County executive board member.
Sledge and his wife, Heather, are members of First Presbyterian Church in Cleveland. They have a son, Parker, and a daughter, Nevin Claire.
Planters Bank also announced that Jody Moor has been promoted to vice president. Moor serves in the Indianola office of Planters Bank.
He is a native of Greenwood, and graduated from Mississippi State with a BBA degree. He is currently attending the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
In the Indianola community, Moor serves as second vice president of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, treasurer of the Indianola Youth Recreation Association and on the board of the Indianola Rotary Club, Indianola Academy School Board and the Indianola Educational Foundation, Inc.
Moor is married to the former Darby Holloway, and they have two daughters, Hannah and Allie, and one son, Joel. They are members First United Methodist Church in Indianola.
Planters Bank announced the promotion of Parker England to vice president for the Greenville branch. England joined Planters Bank in Nov. 2007.
He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2001 and received his MBA from Mississippi State in 2002. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Banking and is currently serving as a member of the Mississippi Young Bankers Executive Council.
He serves on the First Presbyterian Preschool board and Washington County Classic board. He is a member of the Rotary Club and volunteers for the Greenville Public School Reading Program.
England is married to the former Frankie Stallings of Leland, and they have a daughter, Mary Wright, and a son, Miller Vaughn. They are members of First Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
Planters Bank has also promoted Debbie Lockert to vice president and compliance officer. Lockert has 25 years of banking experience and has been with Planters Bank for 19 years.
She is a native of Greenville and is a graduate of Greenville High School, Mississippi Delta Community College and the American Bankers Association’s National Compliance School. She presently serves as chairman of the Mississippi Bankers Association Compliance Committee and has served on past committees for the Mississippi Regulatory Compliance Group and Bankers Compliance Task Force.
Lockert has one daughter, Tommie Kilpatrick Jones. She is a member of Gooden Lake Baptist Church.
Finally, Planters Bank announced that Harry Patton has been promoted to vice president for the Leland office. Patton joined the Leland office of Planters Bank in April 2007.
He is a native of Nitta Yuma, and received his BBA in banking and finance from Mississippi State University. He is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking and is currently attending the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
He is a director of the Leland Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Leland Rotary Club, currently serving as treasurer.
Patton is married to the former Anna Haskins Montgomery of Bay Springs. They are members of the Leland United Methodist Church.
