Easterling honored for service

Tangelia Easterling
Tangelia Easterling, a Regions Bank branch team leader in Flowood, is the July recipient of the Better Life Award. The Better Life Award is the top award given at Regions to associates for outstanding dedication and job performance as well as exemplary involvement and commitment to the community.
Easterling was recognized for her outstanding commitment to customer service. She is also noted as being an exceptional leader at Regions and in the community.
Easterling joined the company in 2006. She is a community volunteer who is involved with Zeta Amicae, an auxiliary group for the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
Executive officers for the University of Southern Mississippi chapter of the Association of Officer Professionals were sworn in recently during an installation ceremony on the Hattiesburg campus.
The new officers are: Melissa Carpenter, immediate past president; Crystal Hay, Gulf Park AOP director; Tina Griffin, treasurer; Delores McNair, president; Connie Knight, president-elect; Sharon Hughes, vice-president; and, Cathy Connell, secretary.
