New, unnamed manufacturer coming to Natchez
NATCHEZ — An Adams County economic development organization has scheduled a ceremony on the Natchez bluff where it was expected to announce that a new manufacturer is coming to the area.
Natchez Inc. set the event for this morning. The Natchez Democrat reports that this is the second such announcement in two months.
In early June, Natchez Inc. announced that Elevance Renewable Sciences planned a project including a $225-million investment creating 165 permanent jobs and more than 300 construction jobs.
Natchez Inc. executive director Chandler Russ said the project unveiled today won’t be as big but will involve jobs.
