Hosemann chooses Snyder

Drew Snyder has been selected to lead the Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann’s Policy and Research Division. Snyder comes to the position from the Washington law firm of Hollingsworth LLP, where he practiced complex and multidistrict litigation. As assistant secretary of state of policy and research, some of Snyder’s responsibilities include researching potential policy revisions to Mississippi business laws and other laws pertaining to the Secretary of State’s Office and making recommendations to the Legislature.
A Eupora native, Snyder graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of business administration with an emphasis in management and managerial finance. He also received his juris doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law where he was executive editor of the Virginia Law Weekly.
Snyder and his wife, Camille, reside in Jackson.
