In any debate about illegal immigration there are propagandists on both sides of the argument. What Governor Phil Bryant is experiencing is a well-aimed pro-illegal alien crusade against the state's immigration law enforcement advocacy bill.

Some members in law enforcement, and business leadership, are swayed more by their fear of political reprisal than they are by what is lawful and right for our nation and equitable for its citizens.

I would not be surprised if these leaders have been warned by some unscrupulous political leaders in Mississippi that their positions as Chiefs of Police will be replaced by persons more willing to obey a mayor's or selfish whim.

Moreover, those same politicians may also threaten to deprive local businesses of pork barrel ear marks if they do not cooperate with the ruling class. But, that is perhaps less of a threat to local businesses thatjust want to exploit an endless line of cheap illegal alien labor. After all, the unscrupulous entrepreneur laughs all the way to the bank from profits gained by the dirt cheap labor. Meanwhile, Mississippi's unemployed citizen labor forces cry all the way to the poor house....with their families in tow.

Hopefully, the electorate will most likely see through the propaganda smokescreens and do what they do best: air a rational voice in support of the Mississippi immigration law enforcement bill.

The bill, and the Governor, have the support of the MInuteman Project.
