McClung named Tishomingo superintendent

The Tishomingo County School Board has named Benny McClung as superintendent of schools. McClung will replace Malcolm Kuykendall. Kuykendall is retiring June 30 after six years as superintendent and 42 years in the school system.
McClung has served as a teacher, coach and principal in the Tishomingo County School District, and is also the former assistant superintendent of the Lafayette County Schools. McClung will start his new job effective July 1.
