Search for anacyclosis. The broad strokes of human history have already been traced by a human nature which does not change. While the causes of momentous events in history cannot always be foretold, their consequences can often be foreseen. We should fear nothing more and speak of nothing with greater passion than of the consequences which flow from the decline of the middle class. Those consequences can be clearly foreseen.
