New CONs issued for health care project cost overruns

D’IBERVILLE and JACKSON — The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) has issued certificates of need (CONs) for two projects.
Greenbriar Nursing Center of D’Iberville has received a CON for the cost overrun to CON #0810 — relocation of 46 long-term care beds from Azalea Gardens Nursing Center.
The approved capital expenditure for this project is $2,679,601. The additional capital expenditure is $1,077,699, making the revised capital expenditure for this project $3,757,270.
St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital has received a CON) for the cost overrun to CON #0840 — renovation for the creation of a hybrid operation room.
