Mississippi State University has hired Jason Krutz as irrigation specialist for its Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville. Krutz began his dual appointment with the MSU Extension Service and the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station May 1. Tim Walker, an agronomist at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville and Mississippi State University associate research professor, was recently named the 2012 Rice Researcher of the Year.
