ACROSS MISSISSIPPI — Gov. Haley Barbour today announced 11 counties along the Mississippi River have been declared federal disaster areas in anticipation of major flooding. COVNIGTON COUNTY — Authorities say about 25 families were evacuated in eastern Covington County today while crews worked on repairing a natural gas pipe leak.
