PHILADELPHIA — The city of Philadelphia has asked the Mississippi Legislature to give it “qualified resort status.” The Neshoba Democrat reports the city wants the designation to attract national chain restaurants and to allow all restaurants in the city to serve wine and liquor by the glass.
