JACKSON — Gov. Phil Bryant named former Hinds County Sheriff Malcolm McMillin to lead the state Parole Board. The five-member board has discretion over which inmates are released from prison on parole. The board also investigates applicants for gubernatorial pardons and makes recommendations.
