Rochelle Hicks is the new executive director of the Mississippi Tourism Association. Hicks comes to MTA with more than 15 years of experience in the tourism industry and was the deputy director of Ridgeland Tourism Commission. Wilkerson tenders resignation

The state’s tourism director, Mary Beth Wilkerson, has resigned her post to take a position with the Ridgeland Tourism Commission. Wilkerson left her position effective June 15. Wilkerson, who had been with the state tourism office for 20 years and nine months, had served as MDA tourism director for two and a half years.
