“Travel Channel’s “Man Vs. Food” host Adam Richmand recently made a swing through Jackson to shoot footage for the show at Burgers and Blues, Chimneyville, 2 Sisters and the Coffee Roastery. The program will televise nationwide in early summer, says Ben |Allen, president of Downtown Jackson Partners, a downtown revitalization and promotions agency.
Also, Travel Channel’s Andrew Zimmern, host of “Appetite for Life” and “Bizarre Foods,” has been pre-filming in Jackson for future segments to be shown at a yet-to-be-determined time. “If you have not seen these programs, you are missing out. They are a hoot,” Allen says.
Zimmern will be in Jackson Saturday, Jan. 28, for the “Appetite for Jackson” food and entertainment festival at the Art Garden. He will be taste testing the offerings of the Parlor Market, Underground 119, King Edward Grill, Parker House, Lumpkins BBQ, Julep, Mint, Palette Café, The Penguin, Nicks, The Mermaid Café, Bravo!, Taste of the Islands, Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox and Koinonia.
Entertainment scheduled included The Southern Comfort Brass Band, Lucky Band, Jesse Robinson, Virgil Brawley, Jewell Bass, Space Wolf, Furrows, and Delta Mountain Boys.

I was Adam’s makeup artist for the four days he was in Jackson filming and you have made in error in your post. We were at Burgers and Blues, Chimneyville, Two Sisters and HAL and MAL’S NOT the Coffee Roastery.
