Jackson State University has named its College of Business auditorium for Winston R. Pittman Sr. and and his wife Alma, according to a university release.
The Pittman family own Pittman Enterprises, a network of auto dealerships in Kentucky, Ohio, and Georgia.
Pittman, a native of Grenada, is a graduate of JSU and CEO of the company. The matching grant for $250,000 will help business students attend JSU who might not otherwise be able to afford to.
