House to vote on last minute “fiscal cliff” bill

The Associated Press is reporting that the U.S. House of Representatives will soon cast a vote on the so-called “fiscal cliff” bill, hours after a midnight deal was hammered out by Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell and Vice-President Joe Biden. The bill will raise taxes on higher incomes but avoid a similar tax on middle income Americans.
